Our Indian Bells jewellery is handmade for us by female artisans in a small studio in Delhi, India. From the casting of the intricate metal pieces to the weaving of the coloured thread each process is done by hand using skillful jewellery making and craft techniques.
From small beginnings, the jewellery workshop has grown organically and is now committed to empowering around 200 women in and around Delhi, who were previously unemployed, by teaching them artisanal techniques such as hand stitching.
Not only does this offer sustainable employment but it allows the women to work independently in their own homes, where they can still look after children and support their local communities.
