We have now introduced a natural leather version of our best selling Valencia Shopper Basket. The long leather strap makes this an ideal shoulder bag and the natural leather will develop a lovely patina with age. The perfect tote bag for shopping trips, work commutes and days out, the roomy size easily accommodates a whole lot of stuff!
Widely known as straw baskets, our shopping baskets are in fact woven using locally sourced natural palm leaf. Moroccan baskets are woven by hand using time-honoured techniques and from sustainably harvested materials.
Handwoven from sustainably sourced palm leaf by Moroccan artisans, the leather will develop a beautiful patina over time.
Deceptively strong and long-lasting, our natural fibre woven baskets are biodegradable and offer an eco-friendly option for those of us wishing to see an end to plastic bags.
Please note | Our palm leaf baskets are handwoven in the round and feature a 'step' on the rim where they are stitched and finished. This is intentional and not a flaw, but rather a part of the design and is placed to the back of the basket so the front has a straight edge.

Notification of faulty goods must be made in writing within 5 days of delivery. Goods may only be returned by formal agreement between Bohemia Design and the purchaser and on receipt of a returns number from Bohemia Design.
