Bohemia x Marrakech

May 2015, Marrakech welcomed us back with open arms. This intoxicating city is bursting at the seams with sounds, smells and many, many sights.

      

The Bohemia ethos is ethical, fair trade, hand made; therefore it is critical we work in close partnership with our worldwide artisans to create our products. We love to visit each group of artisans and watch the master crafters at work; this collaborative way of working excites us, and allows us to design our collections with the people who make them. 

Our Pom Pom Blankets have been the 2015 hit so far, so we visited our master-weavers to design new collections and see the artisans at work. Jenny received a crash course on their traditional wooden loom, and quickly got into the warp & weft rhythm.

 

We took a trip into the countryside to visit this beautiful & secluded kasbah. The Moroccan styling and attention to detail was flawless; a peaceful paradise in the rocky roads of the Moroccan mountains.
